Burns started her career in television in 1995, playing the lead character Peg from the Spanish-American teen show Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Burns started her TV career in 1995, when she joined the cast for the Spanish-American teen sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). She later played a role in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action-packed series. Burns left Baywatch due to her first pregnancies.
